MediaFork 0.8.0 Beta 1 on PC

Post by jaschmidt »

I downloaded MediaFork 0.8.0 Beta 1 and unzipped and ran the .exe file.
All I get is a DOS window that opens and closes.
What am I doing wrong other than using a P.C.?

Well, first off, you posted here in the General forum section when you should have posted in the Windows section =P

The Windows edition, for the moment, doesn't have a graphical interface. You can't click it and have a window with buttons appear. You have to use it from the command line--that is, with cmd.exe. For more info, see the Windows forum where sr55's explained this process.

Maybe a mod for this forum should move it to the windows forum?

jaschmidt - its a *command line* applicaiton. You don't double click this type of application and expect it to run.

You run it though the command prompt in windows.

Code: Select all

[driveletter]:\path\to\mediaForkCli.exe --help
For the command line switches
