wont read the dvd

wont read the dvd

ok ive been tryin to rip 300 but for some reason it wont even read the disc, it just says "this might take a moment" but it never reads it!
im kinda new at this so can some one help me out!!!!!!!!!!

1. Don't use HB to "rip."
2. Get the lastest MTR (Mac The Ripper) if you are on a Mac, or AnyDVD if you are on a PC.

ok so i used AnyDVD but it gave me all these different files. how do i get them all in to one video?

"Use" of AnyDVD is generally transparent. Don't use the AnyDVD menu to actually rip the disk - as long as AnyDVD is running while you are using HandBrake, you should be fine.

I was having problems with a DVD, and so I tried this.

I ran AnyDVD and put in the DVD. Then I used handbrake, and things seemed to go well. When Handbrake started converting the DVD, the command window opened and it ran through whatever it is that it does, and then the coding has ended message appeared but I there was no file where it should have been saved.

why am I still not getting the damn converted file?
