Ripped content won't load on iTunes....

Hi,

I browsed around for a while, trying not to rewrite a post here, but I couldn't find anything. So here it goes:

After HOURS of noodling around, installing and uninstalling Handbrake For Windows and DVD43, and several other "experiments", I finally managed to rip a DVD.

Only thing, when dragging the file to iTunes (via mouse or even trying to import it to the iTunes library), it does nothing. It won't load.

The DVD is ripped with chapters (a Toto concert).

I even ripped it twice with different settings, and nothing.

I'm running on Windows XP.

Any clues?

Thanx in advance! :)

i had the same problem! i checked a bunch of different threads & in the end thought i should wait until it was completely finished encoding to try (before i tried after it was 15% done). all i did was open it with itunes, waited a couple seconds, & it worked! if you waited till yours was completely done, i don't know what to tell you. i can give you my settings though:
width: 368; height: 208
encoder: H.264 (ipod)
audio encoder: AAC
VIDEO SETTINGS
Avg Bitrate (kbps): 720. in this section, 720 is the only thing i have written or checked in. everything else is blank.
AUDIO SETTINGS
Bitrate (kbps): 160
Sample Rate (kHz): 44.1
Audio Track: Automatic
Audio Mixdown is not enabled.
ADVANCED SETTINGS
No. Processors: 2. i selected 2 because i have a dual core processor. if you don't have a dual core, i guess just select 1 or automatic.

& that's it! hope i helped :D

I'm gonna give it a try.

One more thing, tho:

Did you enable the chapter feature?

Thanx! :)
