Unable to seek through movie

For some reason, I am unable to seek through a movie I recently encoded with Handbrake. It plays fine, but when I try to seek to another position, playback stops. All players I have tried (MPC-HC, VLC, even Windows Media Player :P) behave in the same way.

Needless to say, I have not encountered this behavior before in any movie encoded by Handbrake.

This is unexpected but doesn't seem to affect normal operation (audio decoding and encoding appear to work).

Does it also happen if you use e.g. AAC audio instead of Vorbis?

Probably the "date of original encoding" timestamp or something similar.

IIRC, you maybe need to set the GOP for seeking... Try adding: -x keyinit=40 and see what happens. My encodes seek perfectly here with either Zoom or VLC (Win32/XPpro/SP2 - HBCLI 0.9.3)
