Checking if de-interlace option is required

Hello,

I'm using Handbrake on my old Ibook and the picture settings allow you to see a preview and decide if the de-interlace option is required. I'm looking for the same option on the Windows version ... could someone help me ?

The windows version does not have a preview window. Currently I am checking the dvd on my macbook with handbrake, then encoding on my pc.
