Error using the Apple TV preset

When encoding a DVD using the latest version 2.23 i set the preset to Apple TV then (the resolution fields are left empty) and press encode. It appears to do everything fine all the way through, but when i go to import it to iTunes it doesnt do anything.... then i tried to play it with Quicktime and it gave error 2048. Said was in invalid move or something like that.

Some specs:

I am on windows vista business, using dvd43, AMD processor

Anyone have similar problems?

P.S. i redid it with the ipod 1.73 preset (i think) and it worked fine

Sounds like the encode process had crashed on you. If its a very long movie you may need to lower the bitrate to 2000~2500 to prevent the output filesize going over 4GB

AppleTV preset uses anamorphic so it leaves the res boxes blank.

The output file ended up being 1.43GB for the bad copy (apple TV preset) and ipod preset made a 976mb and file works okay on the Apple TV
