Encoding

Hi- I'm new to the forum.
I downloaded handbrake for windows last night and popped in a DVD to encode. I selected drive E:/ (my DVD drive) and it scanned the 3 titles that were on the disc successfully. I left is at the default settings. I selected where I wanted my file saved and named it "AKUS". It then started encoding whick took just over an hour. I come back when its done and check out my file but it has no extension. It is just called "AKUS" it has no file extension. How do I fix this?

right click -> rename
type in .mp4 at the end of the file
