Sorry - n00b install question.

Post by CWalker »

Sorry - I did read, but didn't see my question, so please forgive me if it has come up before.

When I try to install Handbrake, I get a message that says it cant be
installed on systems with .NET framework version smaller than 2.0.

What does that mean and is there anyway to rectify the situation?

I am running Media Center XP (not by choice, I assure you) version 2002.
I have a AMD Athlon 64 Processor.
Thanks,
CW

I'm along the same lines. I installed the .NET framework but it still says I haven't installed it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't do NET framework. Is there anyway to get a simple self-extracting .exe to install Handbrake?

Are you sure you have version 2.0 (or higher) and not 1.1?
