can't convert to .avi

Post by barsoy »

Code: Select all

### CLI Query: -i "G:\VIDEO_TS" -t 1 -c 1-8 -o "D:\e1.avi" -f avı -p -e xvid -b 1500 -2 -a 1 -E ac3 -B 160 -6 dpl2 -D 1 --markers="C:\Users\barsoy\AppData\Local\Temp\VIDEO_TS-1-chapters.csv" -v
#########################################
Invalid output format (av). Possible choices are avi, mp4, m4v, ogm, ogg and mkv
Though I choose avi file format and name the destination file to xxx.avi, I get this error log every time. I even tried capital letters. Any suggestions please?

Are you having some sort of character set issue? The letter after "av" in your command line is definitely not an "i".

2. and 3rd letters are turkish defined. But I did wrote .avi or .AVI. Not .avı or .AVİ

"D:\e1.avi" -f avı
That is not an "i" (highlighted in red)

Found a temporary solution:

Windows Control Panel> Regions and Languages> Administrative tab> default language for non-unicode programs> english u.s.a. and restart windows.

Sure this solution causes other programs character problems. But as I said above- this is a temporary solution :?
