I'm trying to use Handbrake to convert some videos for use on my iPhone, but apparently Handbrake 0.9.3 has a bug and cannot decode AAC files.
Do any older versions of Handbrake work with AAC?

Re: Do older versions of Handbrake work with AAC?
Universal input support was only added in 0.9.3, so there are no older versions that will work.

This seems to make the program unusable, or am I missing something here? Every attempt to use Handbrake results in an access violation due to the AAC error. So what are people doing to get Handbrake to work?

Not encoding files with AAC I would imagine.
It's primarily used for DVD -> iPod or AppleTV or similar device.
DVD's don't have the problem.

You could always just use another operating system. Works fine on every other platform.
