Does HB support DivX codec ?
When I go to the "Video" tab then I found no DivX codec listed.
is it hidden behind some other entry like MPEG-4 (ffmpeg) or H.264?
If it is possible: Is 2-pass encoding supported as well or only 1-pass?

Xvid Is supported (although not for much longer. Due to be removed in 0.9.4)

No, HB doesn't support (and won't) support the DivX encoder.

DivX isn't a codec as such, it's an implementation of MPEG4 ASP as is XviD and the ffmpeg entry in Handbrake.
