Description of problem or question:
Handbrake uses 10% to 20% of CPU power Core i9-9900K

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
Set deinterlace to Decomb with EEDI2 Bob preset

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.4
1.3
nightly

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Windows 10 Pro 21H1

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Code: Select all

Please replace this text with the contents of your log file between the two code tags - OR - provide a pastebin URL in place of these 3 lines.
If you are unable to do so, please state why so we can help you.
What I ended up doing is running like 5 instances of Handbrake ques in parallel. Is there an option to run multiple files in a single que at the same time? I couldn't find one.

Thanks for any info.

Some filters are slow and/or don't scale well. This is pretty normal.

In 1.4 and later goto: -> Preferences -> Advanced -> process Isolation
You can increase the number of simultaneous jobs here
