VP9 --encopts

VP9 is well documented on FFMPEG, but nonexistent on mencoder.x, --encopts <string> Specify advanced encoding options in the same
style as mencoder (all encoders except theora):
option1=value1:option2=value2
What would be the proper syntax for these options?
