Encode a Single Frame

Post by th3rmite »

Is it possible to encode a single frame using the CLI? Something like a screenshot of the DVD?

Thanks

No, use ffmpeg. I'd give you the exact command I use in a script, but it's stored on my desktop, and I have no net access at home right now.

If you're asking for GUI work, then realize that the preview images are all stored in a temp directory, and Scott's had some success in getting them displayed in the past, but never perfectly or efficiently. They should be raw YUV or something.
