[svn4930] Audio: Wrong Bitrate, Cut Halfway
i got problem with converting FLAC audio to Vorbis, i use HandbrakeGUI 32-bit svn4930 (using Windows 7 64-bit) and set the output audio to vorbis at 48 kbps and stereo but the output gives me 56kbps audio and half way the sound is just gone http://i.imgur.com/a18PJ.png Samples: http://www.mediafire....

x264 Presets, Tunes, Profiles on HandbrakeGUI
i think i read sometime ago but long long time ago that x264 Presets, Tunes, Profiles options will be implemented on Handbrake and HandbrakeCLI has this already but are their plans on adding this feature to HandbrakeGUI too? Dark Shikari the lead developer of x264 is strictly recommending non-x264 d...

[svn4547] Hardsubbing of Subtitles are only showing Blocks
i saw this recent change Rework filter pipeline This patch enhances the filter objects. The 2 key improvements are: 1. A filter can change the image dimensions as frames pass through it. 2. A filter can output more than one frame. In addition, I have: Moved cropping & scalling into a filter obje...

Re: [Suggestion] FFMpegSource
First sentence on that page FFmpegSource (usually known as FFMS or FFMS2) is a cross-platform wrapper library around libav HandBrake uses libav directly. So there's not much advantage in using another wrapper. im no expert here but they did not include libav on the program that uses it here - http:...

[Suggestion] FFMpegSource
just suggesting to make FFMpegSource the decoder or decompressor for Handbrake since its more frame accurate and really popular when using avisynth base GUI x264 encoders like MeGUI i observed that even at ultra low bitrate (40kbps) of audio encoding for example on Vorbis then FFAudioSource (part of...

Re: [svn4384] Overlapping ASS/SSA Subtitles [Hardsubbing]
Did you notice, our alpha blending was pretty broken as well. Chroma wasn't being blended, so things that should have looked like they had a glow just had harsh brightly colored outlines. So I fixed that as well. ah i do not have keen eyes about that but thats cool as well :) and while your at it i...

Re: [4311svn] Multi-Audio Encoding Bug
Since I don't know MeGUI, I really have no idea what it is you are asking for. But it sounds bat--s-h-i-t--crazy. Quality is set with -Q and bitrate is set with -B. It's simple and maps directly to native vorbis settings. Why do you want to complicate it? i do not complicate it actually, i just wan...

just finished testing HandBrake-4328svn-x86_64-Win_CLI.zip and its working fine although can you also fix the -Q option for vorbis audio? can you make it work like how it works on MeGUI that it can accept negative values up to -2 that is equivalent to 32kbps? i can still make an option to set a bitr...

Re: Handbrake 10-bit x264 Support?
Our of curiosity, what would you be using 10bit support for. simple, 10-bit x264 gives better quality at more lower file size Yes. But it's slower to encode and decode. More importantly, it plays on nothing . It won't play on an iPod, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV, WDTV, PS3, whatever. And most computer de...

Re: Handbrake 10-bit x264 Support?
i got low programming skills and i only know freepascal like 3/10 plus i got work now so no abundant time to learn for me
and thats sad news that handbrake will not have 10-bit x264 support but maybe a hero developer will arrive when 10-bit becomes widespread
