The solution is in one of the threads linked to in the search, above.

Re: Audio Not Matching Video

It would appear that it's been mastered oddly, which is causing some issues on the encode. As your next step, I would suggest pre-ripping with MakeMKV.

It's also possible to directly enter values into the picture settings window under OS X, at least in the current nightly build/release candidates.

Activity log, please. The iPad preset has been tested to work with all revisions of the iPad, so I suspect the issue may lay elsewhere.

Re: Scanned title-length does not match output file

Which tool did you use? I ask because your scan log shows several AC3 frame sync errors. A log of the encode would also help.

Re: Scanned title-length does not match output file

You can do this by using dvd decrypter. It's free. Please, don't. DVD Decrypter hasn't been updated since it was served with a cease and desist from the MPAA nearly a decade ago. It is unable to handle the copy protection measures used on many discs released since then and causes more problems than...

Do you have access to the original disc, rather than a copy run through DVD Shrink?

Rule 3, bye.
I'm afraid that mduell is right. While we do turn a blind eye to fansubs for the most part, we draw the line at BD rips which your source most assuredly is.

Locking.

You also lose a lot of information like chapter markers, subtitle labels and audio track labels.

That checkbox doesn't create markers, it simply allows you to pass the embedded markers from the source be it DVD or file.

Have a look at the announcements at the top of this, and every other, subforum. There are posts detailing both the nightly builds and the 0.10.0 beta.

I'm afraid not. Interactive elements like menus are not supported in either MP4 or MKV files.

HandBrake 0.9.9 doesn't appear to work with Dxtory, I suggest updating to a current nightly build or beta release.

Re: Speed Test Results from Various Mac Computers

I'd be checking CPU temperatures and fan speeds for a start... If your CPU is overheating, say due to a poorly fitted heatsink, then CPU throttling may be responsible for the slow encode speeds. Speaking from personal experience, I've owned both a 2007 Macbook Pro (2.4 GHz C2D) and a 2011 Macbook Pr...

Re: Help for Newbie??

I just started using Handbrake 0.9.9.5530. I've a couple questions. I prefer to output all files as MKV. 1) Is it normal for the MKV file to be upwards of 1/10 the size of the ISO file? Not unusual at all, H.264 is a far more efficient codec than MPEG-2 as used on DVD. 2) Is it normal for Handbrake...

Re: MP4 Files Not Served Up

It's entirely possible that the issue is neither your NAS nor HandBrake, but rather the television you're serving to. Many televisions, while supporting MP4, do not like variable frame rate (VFR) encodes... I would try setting constant frame rate and see if that helps.

Re: Monsters University correct title?

What are you using to pre-rip the disc? Also, if I remember correctly you'll need to update to a nightly build as 0.9.9 had issues with this DVD.
