Another suggestion to test the actual ISO is to try playing it with VLC. If VLC won't play it, there is something wrong with the rip to ISO.

I can only agree. Total waste of time created by marketing hype of major manufacturers.

As stated above, Fab excels at ripping the content and removing copyright whereas Handbrake excels at producing an MKV transcode.

There are really only two things more that would make Handbrake absolutely perfect which is the ability to add Album Art and Tags to also be muxed in the container.
