The advanced h264 options used on that profile will do that. It does however give much nicer videos out.

That really depends. With some discs it may well cause problems, on others it may be fine.

Depends on the copy protection techniques used. It may well just be discarding Fake titles etc but its difficult to say. If its encoding fine then it should be ok.

Its simply having difficulty reading the discs correctly. You'll prob find titles missing at the scan stage.

Its either a DVD mastering issue or copy protection.

If its not copy protection the only way around it would be to try running it though DVD Shrink (Free).

Do yourself a favor and upgrade the GUI to 2.22. Download is in the usual place. This is not a bug. Should go in the handbrake for windows section. I hope you mean 500GB not 5. Even with a 500GB handdrive, you'll only fit around 5~600 Reasonable quality Videos on it. You really need around 2TB of space for that many DVD's Handbrake is not something that will run on one of these boxes, incentive or not. I highly doubt it will have the processing...

This is nothing to do with Handbrake.....

Handbrake doesn't even burn discs. I can only assume your using some feature built into vista.

Generally means its not able to read the DVD data.

Try AnyDVD - Seems to fix most issues with problematic dvds

Why not just use the latest version of Mac the ripper?
