Re: Serenity Using iPhone setting-No Sound
The default seems AC3 5.1. That's the source. The output is the popup to the right of that - the "mix". You want DPL II or below (DPL II is a stereo track that has surround sound information cunningly hidden in it - a suitable receiver can pick it out). Is there audio on your iPod? When y...

Reports have already suggested that iTunes sets a hard limit of 720*400 for the new iPods. They can also play 640*480. iTunes will only allow 640*480 video to be transferred to older iPods, however. This is pushing what the iPod is capable of playing. The chip isn't capable of playing anything over ...

willzone1: You were asked to post a crash log in this thread - and I told you how - but you haven't done, yet. So saying that noone has helped you is stretching the truth a little. :) chromeboy: I'm afraid I'm not sure what's going on. We've had a couple of reports of problems with target size, but ...

The lowest common denominator is not the same as the highest. If I use the lowest common denominator for an iPod and Apple TV that would be 480x320, which would result in a poorer picture on the Apple TV. The highest common denominator would be 640x480. It would look the same on the iPod but better...

HB will be no faster with multiple drives. It would allow you to queue DVDs up, though. However, the sensible way to do that would be to use some other software - such as MacTheRipper on the Mac, or AnyDVD (I think) on Windows - to copy the DVD's contents to your HD. This is speedy, and HB can then ...

It depends on what aspect ratio the material is. The fixed value is 480px wide; that's great for movies, but 4:3 material will become 480*368 (closest to 480*360 that's divisible by 16). 432*320 might be a good resolution to use on the iPhone for 4:3 content, but 480*368 does give you the luxury of ...
