Re: Remove motion artifacts
Why did you think it was NTSC? It is not. scan: 10 previews, 720x576, 25.000 fps, autocrop = 0/4/0/0, aspect 4:3, PAR 16:15 Don't force this: + frame rate: 50.000 fps -> constant 60.000 fps Also, don't do this: + Detelecine (pullup) () Obviously from your photo this source is interlaced. Re: Only records the first 20 minutes
Could you suggest some "modern supported rippers"? These are some names that crop up quite often. MakeMKV DVDFab AnyDVD DVD Decrypter is the only program that was able to rip this particular problematic DVD. Really? Which other 'rippers' did you use? Handbrake, among others, was not able ...

Re: No Destination button
It looks like something must be wrong with your copy of HandBrake. On my system, the output path/name (shown to the right of 'Save As' - like you mentioned) can be changed by clicking the 'Browse' button. Also, if I type, 'TEST' for example, it automatically adds the '.mp4' extension, and everything...

Well before you use it - it would be a good start to spell its name correctly. That aside, HandBrake is awesome! It has various guides from its main page.

Re: Selecting H.265 changes automatically the Encoder Presert to Fast
I recently wrote this article to help answer some questions that happen to be found in this thread: https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/latest/technical/performance.html I used to write things like this 'back in the day'. I know it can be quite time-consuming. Your article will be of great help to many. G...

Re: handbrake 1.2.2 (and earlier) don't use all available cpu power for dvds but do for blu-rays
You question has no merit, it is flawed. You are not comparing 'like for like'. One has filters one does not. Also...... my cpu usage is always very near or above 1000%. Really? How can it be more than 100%? 100% = full... How can it be 1000%? Do you have ten of them? my cpu usage is always in the 5...

How, or what, are you trying to load (not upload) in?

It's not a bug, it's intentional. Why should it not crop anything? Why do you want to encode where there's no picture?

Re: Encoded Videos Always Miss Some Part Of Subtitles
in the BDMV/Stream folder there's is a .M2TS file with the size of ~34GB. It is the whole movie with all audio tracks and subtitles. I'm trying to encode that. That's the problem. I think you've misunderstood a couple of replies. Re-read these replies: Have it open D:\MIRACLE_IN_CELL_NO_7\BDMV\inde...

Re: Best settings for top quality DVD - MP4 conversions
As mentioned numerous times over numerous days/weeks/months/years, HandBrake doesn't remove 'copyright' issues. Handbrake is a transcoder, not a ripper.

Re: Need help with some files
No need to convert to MPEG-2. I had to help a teacher friend of mine out a few months back with a few VCDs he bought to use with some of his privates'. Just used VCDGear, DAT to MPG, then made some MP4 files with HandBrake, worked a treat. ISOBuster and a few other programs will also correct the DAT...

Re: Need help with some files
It's been a while since I messed around with a VCD but from what I remember...... There's an old program (free), called VCDGear. Use this and select the DAT to MPG option to get your files off the VCD (MPEGAV folder). It also has option to fix/repair any problems if I remember correctly, it's been f...

Re: How to convert DVD/mp4 to MPEG-1 to play on old Sony LED TV
MPEG-1 right? .... 20 years ago I was messing around with MPEG-1, my god. From a quick search I noticed your TV also does MPEG-2, Handbrake does output this. I'm not sure of the output container your TV would accept.... Mate, spend a few $$$ and just buy a cheap media player, they're almost next to ...

Re: If the CPU consumption can be lowered when encoding videos?
Before I got my current laptop I used to have many overheating issues, would only encode for about 6 mins before reset. The laptop's cooling was old and past its day, but it was the only option I had. The only way around it was to add 'threads=1' to the advanced options, not ideal I guess, but it wo...
