I just deleted user_presets, started HB and loaded a file, no crash with HandBrake svn6015 (Nightly Build), no problem on my side
It recreate user_presets when I add a preset.

Sometimes presets get corrupted between upgrade, you could try to start from scratch by: Exit Handbrake Backup %appdata%Roaming\HandBrake\user_presets.xml to another location rm user_presets.xml Start Handbrake, it will create an empty user_presets.xml Now try to recreate your specific preset, save ...

That we could do something about, I suppose. Though the message is printed before we calculate the precise timestamp. That would be a nice addition to have some timing information available with these messages :) WIth it I could look at the source and try to fix/correct/patch if possible. Sometimes...

and when I get these :

there is no way of figuring out when or where in the source file this happens?

and beware of OpenCL downscale, I found that doing 1080i-720p with Deinterlace slower give bad result. Stick to Lanczos Resize ;-)

AFAK This behavour has been there for ages.

Workaround is to change the height of the window (as changing the width isn't possible) and scroll back, the button will become visible.
