I seem to recall that first posts were held for approval by a mod, yet I keep seeing all this spam popping up.
Maybe posts should be held for approval? If Mods aren’t available around the clock, trusted members could perhaps be picked to authorize posts that aren’t spam?

Re: New Features for HB 1.0 [Joke Thread]
Having been away for a while, and coming back to seeing the same questions, I would like to suggest that the application have a setting that automatically creates an account on this wonderful forum, posts a thread along the lines of “Handbrake doesn’t work.” and supplies no other information.

I guess it’s not worth mentioning what OS is used, or what version of Handbrake is used in order to help with your own support request?

I didn’t have anything to do decent image editing in Windows, but the Append button is (or was) in the upper right corner of the mkvmerge GUI. http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/891/2filesandmkvmergescreen.png SC ps - I guess since Image Shack deleted one of my images, I’ll see about making better one...

Since it’s a laptop, it might also be engaging the thermal limits, which would slow it down.

Re: Output half the size of source file ?
Hello, I use Handbrake solely to convert from .mkv to .m4v so that my Apple TV3 can play it. It usually takes about an hour to convert an average 3Gb file. The results have been great so far. Yesterday I tried to convert a 15Gb file (source was 60fps video) so I expected it to take longer, it took ...

Give it a rest, mduell. No one likes sarcastic, forum-police remarks. If you pre-rip with MakeMKV, you can mux in the TrueHD audio from the source file into your destination file.
