Never mind, I found a sample on the Canon Japan site. The problem is what I thought - HB is getting u8 (1 byte) audio from ffmpeg when it expects s16 (2 byte) audio and therefore doing many wrong things. VLC and Windows
For Windows users, will HandBrake do DVD decryption if you have the VLC media player installed? I read somewhere about some functionality involving VLC if you're using a Mac or Linux, and was curious to know if this is true for Windows as well.
