Thanks Nightstrm... I am finding that using the Universal setting is taking quite a while to encode... a 2 hour movie is taking 3.5 hours to encode. Does this sound right? It doesn't seem like it took this long with the Apple TV or iPod Hi-Rez that I used to use... I am using a mac mini 2 ghz with 2...

@ nightstrm, Would you still suggest raising the constant quality from 59% to 63% as you suggest below? Or was that just for your original settings before the "Universal" setting was created? And if so, any guess to the size vs quality difference this change will give? John NOTICE TO ANYON...

Thanks for the reply... makes sense.

One other question...

I noticed that the "Universal" setting seems to make a darker copy of the film than the original movie. Is this normal?

Does the Apple TV setting give a more original look?
