Windows VBScript to auto archive DVD to MKV
Hello I'm converting all my DVDs to MKV files using the High Profile. My goal is to preserve all the subtitle and audio tracks in AC3. To that end I created a VBScript that 1) Runs handbrakecli, scan only, on the target DVD folder, sending the output to a txt file. 2) Then it scans the scan output f...

Re: scan-only option
Hello I'm using windows 7 and I haven't been able to redirect the output of the scan to a text file. This is what I'm doing: C:\Program Files (x86)\Handbrake>handbrakecli -i D:\dvd\ALIEN_3_DISC1\VIDEO_TS\ -t 0 > C:\output.txt Is it possible to capture the output. What I'd like to do is automatically...

Re: Subtitles in MKV (as source) not recognized by HB
Hello
I am doing the exact same thing.
If i extract the subtitles from the mkv, I get the idx and sub files. Can I add those to an encode where the source is the mkv? Are the only external subtitle files I can add to an encode job SRT files?
Thanks.

Re: Play AppleTV formatted videos on Xbox 360
Hi Have you been able to stream any video to your Xbox 360 using Connect360? I have never used Connect360 but I have attempted to play video, converted using the AppleTV preset, from an external drive and have gotten the unplayable content error. It was caused by the multiple audio tracks in the pre...

Re: Some Xbox 360 encoded movies don't play smoothly
Hello I think its the framerate. I just got an Xbox 360 last week and have the same issue. I've been looking all over the web for an answer to no avail. I just re converted two movies and set then to a constant rate. I set up the conversion last night and forget if I set it to 29.97 or 23.976. But, ...
