I have been through the gambit of subtitle choices for this... what is the correct thing that is needed to get subtitles on this movie?

Alright... for 2012 here is what you're gonna have to do to enable the foreign language subtitles. Use subtitle track '0 - English - (Bitmap)' and have 'forced only' checked. That's it. As has been stated before the foreign audio search track doesn't work in version 4.9. There ya go... happy trails ...

The Forgotten Now here's an interesting one. The full theatrical movie will rip, but HB also gives the option to rip the alternate ending one (which is a full 3min longer).
