Re: **Updated** Bluray Ripping & Encoding (A Total Mac Solut
Any one know what's happening with the following: I rip a BD with MakeMkv. File is a large size (19-24gigs). Subtitles show up when played through VLC. Picture is great, no problems, all is good. Next I bring it into Handbrake and select the High Profile preset (because I want to maintain a decent ...

Re: Audio out of Sync
Hi All, I've had a couple dvd backups go awry recently with audio out of sync with video. I'm using the AppleTV preset, taking off large file. Any ideas? Thanks in advance What ideas could anyone give you when provided nothing. Wait, here's one: Read the link in the red bar at the top of the thread!

Re: DTS-HD PassThru in GUI
I assume your issue still isn't fixed? FWIW, here's what you need to replicate my build environment: 1) Xcode 3.2.6 from Apple (make sure the 10.5 SDK gets installed) 2) yasm via http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/ 3) the following configure options: ./configure --gcc=gcc-4.2 --arch=x86_64 --sysroot=/...

Re: Mac OS X Lion: HB encode does not start.
I looked for a HandBrake folder in Application Support. Nothing there. I have the same problem at the other fellow. But no matter how many times I try to "start" the encoding, nothing happens. Before moving to Lion, all was fine. Anyone have any suggestions, either what to replace or wher...

This is true..., but it's the first time I've seen it this elaborate.Rodeo wrote:It's a novelty for Blu-ray (though it's apparently been around in one form or another for about 7 months), but multiple fake titles have been around on DVD for a while now. It's almost antiquated

Re: Unable to encode "Source Code" (movie)
How did you figure this one out? I was successful at Handbraking this blu ray but I guess I was just lucky -- I picked a title that looked likely but since I can't actually play blu-rays on my PC I didn't have any way to see what playlist it was using. You may want to watch to be sure.... http://ww...

Re: Unable to encode "Source Code" (movie)
This is a new copy protection. With the Bluray version, you have to choose the title that represents 00876.MPLS. I can't speak for the DVD version.

Re: DTS-HD PassThru in GUI
FWIW, the only differences between my build and the official nightlies are: 1) nightlies are built with Xcode 4.1 under OS X 10.7 Lion, and target the Mac OS X 10.6 SDK - whereas mine are built with Xcode 3.2.6 under OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, and target the Mac OS X 10.5 SDK 2) some extra logging The...

Re: DTS-HD PassThru in GUI
Further testing leads me to believe it to be a "Late 2009 i7 iMac" thing (I know sounds stupid): 1. Changeset 4126 works fine on Mini (only time I had HB on it was for these test), now that I remember to change the container. 2. Changeset 4126 did not/does not work on iMac with SL or Lion ...

Re: DTS-HD PassThru in GUI
Does your default preset use the MKV container? If not, can you switch the container to MKV after the source is done scanning? Edit 2: here's another build http://localhostr.com/file/x7fCeC3/HandBrake%203.zip OK...Stupid me...Both new compiles work. When testing on SL, I didn't have my Lion default...
