Subtitle Scan - rendersub: no subtitle marked for burn
I had a discussion yesterday with Rodeo in the Mac forum: https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28718 Rodeo suggested it might be a bug. I'm having difficulty getting the subtitle arguments to work. It appears to be working fine in the GUI, but Foreign Audio Search seems to be failing f...

Re: Subtitle Scan help - rendersub: no subtitle marked for b
Thanks for the help Rodeo. It works as expected in the GUI … just selecting Foreign Audio works fine. Just can't get the args to work in the cli. I'll keep working at it. If you hear of a fix or solution, please let me know. Thanks again!Rodeo wrote:Sounds like a possible bug then.

How about this? --native-language $lang --native-dub --subtitle scan --subtitle-forced 1 --subtitle-burned 1 Yeah, it's been a while. I think the last release I wrote for was 0.9.6 :) Thanks for the info, unfortunately, the scan is not selecting any tracks. Here's the output. I've also posted the o...

Re: Subtitle Scan help - rendersub: no subtitle marked for b
Well, let's get back to the beginning. What is it that you're trying to have in your output file exactly (what audio track(s), what subtitle track(s), etc.)? Thanks for taking pity on me Rodeo! At its most basic, the script will select the default audio track. Typically, the subtitle track should o...

This time I copied/pasted the command from your post to avoid typos and got the same result as last time. Did you wait for it to scan the disc? It might take a while. If you did, and the command executed, exited completely, and returned you to the shell … MakeMKV cli isn't accessing the disc. The o...

This kinda error is hard to diagnose, so we'll have to step through it.
With the disc mounted, Open Terminal and Enter:
"/Applications/MakeMKV.app/Contents/MacOS/makemkvcon" -r --directio=false info disc:list
Please post or PM me the results.

Just upgraded to Lion. Tag and Rename Movies just asks for confirmation about the movie name and then exits. Everything was working perfectly when running Snow Leopard. Re: How-To: Automate DVD & Blu-Ray (Backup, Encoding & Tagging)
Can I string together the encode, rename and tagging into one automation sequence? My guess is probably not, because of the input required to identify the title of the movie. Hi RedJeep0, The process is pretty automated, but for auto-tagging in the Batch Encode action, you will need to rename befor...
