Hi i recently ripped several movies and then when I import them into iTunes and sync them to my iPod (5g) they dont synce cause iTunes says that it cannot be played on this iPod. Hi
I tired to scan 3:10 to Yuma in prep to rip it in Ipod High Rez Format
it scans 24 of 25 titles and then hangs
the drive spins then stop spines then stops over and over
any help will be much appreciated

im trying to get high rez movies ripped onto my ipod so i can play them on the TV
i have a 5G ipod and according to Apple it accepts 640x480, nothing bigger
is it possible to get bigger movie files onto the Ipod like 720x480?

I dont have the activity log anymore
i ripped another movie but changed the settings so the resolution falls into 640x480 and it worked
the Ipod High Rez doesnt have the right resolution for an Ipod, Ipod low rez and Iphone settings work.
is it because i have a 5G ipod

Hey i tried to rip another movie and this time didn't change any of the settings, it was American Gangster in Ipod High Rez
it still didn't snyc to my 5G ipod but it did sync to the iphone what is up?

Thats what i thought too, but what i want to do is watch the movies on a big screen TV using an ipod dock, and i heard somewhere that you could increase the resolutionbaggss wrote:Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought the 5G iPods were limited to 640 x XXX.....

At the top left there is a drop down list for titles
you pick the longest one, if there are more than two movies on it, you pick the second longest

i ripped a movie in Ipod High rez and then increased the resolution to 720x384
it went into iTune fine and plays fine on my mac but wont sync to my 5G ipod
however it will sync to my iPhone, what is going on
