Re: Post Your "Best Settings" here and Why.
I believe nightstrm disables CABAC because he is targeting the iPhone and the AppleTV. I am as well so the iPod Touch means no CABAC. Anyway here are my settings which are slightly different than nightstrms. I crank up the CRF rate to .66 as I want as close to transparency with the DVD as I can get ...

Re: AppleTV to support Dolby5.1 Natively
I will post mine in a couple minutes after I get things settled. http://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=382&p=27116#p27116 Thanks nightstrm, Cavalicious. I'm using similar settings. Sort of a mis-mash between the two of your presets. I mainly watch on my AppleTV but I want to be able...

The Movies are mounted on the Macbook, and added to iTunes. Then iTunes allows them to share to AppleTV. My plans for upgrades actually are just to the Macbook...

Re: libswscale resizing artifacts
I have two movies I've encoded (iPod Hi-Rez) which display this banding problem. If I encode progressive for the AppleTV I don't have the bands. The progressives, however, won't play on the Ipod Touch. I have no idea what you mean by "encode progressive for the AppleTV"... And no, no prog...

Re: libswscale resizing artifacts
Hello, I've been scouring the forums and I was wondering if any progress had been made on this issue. I have two movies I've encoded (iPod Hi-Rez) which display this banding problem. If I encode progressive for the AppleTV I don't have the bands. The progressives, however, won't play on the Ipod Tou...
