I downloaded the one with this file name: GStreamer-WinBuilds-GPL-x86.msi
Again, it worked just fine on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Hope that helps.

Re: Cannot Rip Anything
FYI: I followed the instructions outlined above for installing libdvdcss.dll into the Handbrake directory and it worked perfectly (Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and Handbrake 0.9.5). Fantastic solution! Now I don't need to run DVD43 along side Handbrake. One application does it all. Thanks.
Re: Need Help
Try "closing" DVD43 so it's not running in the system tray. Then, insert your DVD. Take no action if an automated window pops asking you what you want to do. Now, start DVD43. It should start yellow, then progress to angry yellow, and finally green. The default installation behavior of DVD...

Re: Cannot read DVDs
I recommend DVD43. Works in the background and I have yet to come across a DVD it could not decrypt. The software is free at http://www.dvd43.com. Beware, it installs itself to auto load into the Windows system tray at start up (doesn't everything seem to do that less days?). Normally, that won't ca...

Re: Oops no subtitles
Perhaps you've been lucky with previous copy attempts and the auto selected track was the right one (i think it usually is). Anyway, so far you are following the right process: insert DVD, in the Source section of the GUI click on browse and then navigate to the VIDEO_TS directory and click Open or ...

Re: Beginner articles detailing how to use Handbrake for Windows
Adding a link to the wiki works for me. :) If it helps, I just posted a summary article with links to all 3 parts, a correction for removing DVD43 from automatically starting in the system tray, and a general reminder about using Handbrake for legal purposes. :) Here is the summary link: http://www....

Re: Beginner articles detailing how to use Handbrake for Windows
Thanks for pointing out my oversight. I went ahead and made the correction you suggested. I do mention, however, in the first part of the series that I won't get into the legal question of making a copy of a DVD for iPod viewing. I do, however, suggest in part 1 that the individual already owns the ...

Re: Oops no subtitles
Which GUI build are you using? Click -> About to find out (Handbrake version and GUI build version should appear on this screen). I'm ripping a foreign film as I type. I forgot to make a subtitle selection so I'll probably have to "do-over" my copy to get it right; however, I just checked ...

Beginner articles detailing how to use Handbrake for Windows
FYI: I wrote a short 3 part series for my blog detailing the steps for installing and using DVD43 and Handbrake for copying DVDs to an iPod. The subject matter is probably pretty basic for regular readers of this forum; however, if you know someone that needs help getting started, and you don't have...
