Well, one problem here, these DVDs have all been ripped years ago. I have them in VIDEO_TS files on a media server. Would burning DVDs and then re-ripping have any affect? Doesnt seem like it. Isnt' there anything i can run them through off the hard drive to fix these errors?

I seriously doubt the reason was for 'quarterly results'. Im sure we're talking about a small number of units in comparison to Apples sales. Far less than a half percent at best.
