Emulate the compression of this movie for my videos? testing settings
Yesterday I downloaded this movie "The Passion of Christ" and it looks amazing. It only weighs 2gb and lasts for more than two hours. I've seen its properties and I'm trying to copy its settings to Handbrake to compress other videos. But I don't know if more things need to be added. I lea...

Is there any way to improve this video compression and make its weight more or less similar?
I have compressed a 9 second video with my setup that I have been testing (maybe newbie). The original video is 9mb and the compressed video is 2mb. I wanted to ask you if there are any better settings so that the video looks better and continues to weigh from 2mb to 3mb? I LEAVE YOU THE ORIGINAL VI...

Best settings to compress movies from 30gb to 2gb?
I want to compress movies that weigh less than 2gb. I have seen many torrent movies in 1080p and they look great. I have configured it this way to get the same quality but I have not achieved it. Can anyone suggest me a preset? https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj1WW-gYvvmMtKJlzLt-tLG...

Re: How long does it take you guys to compress this 5 minute video? (with the configuration of the images)
Such is ultimately the choice of any single one. Like do you want the conversion to be fast and maybe have a bigger file? Or do you have time and let an encode rune for 5 hours? Do you want to have a small file or a bigger one and eventually keeping some details a smaller file couldn't preserve? I ...

By the way, do you have a better compression profile than mine? This configuration that I use is mine and I don't know where to get better ones.

Re: How long does it take you guys to compress this 5 minute video? (with the configuration of the images)
File size: 76.4 MB Encoding time: 53 minutes "average encoding speed for job is 4.622690 fps" haa, so the compression is still slow even though you have a more powerful processor. My processor is only 4 core, very old, and I was only 7 minutes slower than you when compressing. But the dif...

Could you convert this little 5-minute video and tell me how long it took you with the settings I left in the images? I'm thinking of building a more expensive pc, because my current pc has 16gb of ram, i7 3770, 480gb ssd. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ja4FbMJzY4SAQwcAjgr-kXaL-23MHobO/view?usp=s...

Re: Best compression settings for H.264? (H.265 works mul slow on my pc)
Gee, it would be nice to know things like, "what kind of source are we talking about?", and "what kind of display size are we talking about?", and "how much quality is acceptable to throw away?" You know, the sort of things that the REQUIRED ACTIVITY LOG would tell us,...

Compress at 1000kbps (best setting)?
I have several movies in 2160p and I want to compress them to 1080p and 1000kbps (1mb). What would be the best configuration?
I know that a lot of information or quality is lost with so few kbps, but I want to try it.

I downloaded an episode of Game of Thrones that weighs 1gb. It looks extraordinarily good. I will not upload the chapter or captures, because I do not know if it is allowed here. But I will leave you the "MediaInfo" of the video according to MPC. What values or settings should I create in ...

Youtube videos where they explain well how to use handbrake?
Most of the youtube videos explain in a very basic way how to use hanbrake and with the preset settings. This compression setting can be improved?
I have seen several videos on youtube and my conclusion is that this is a good setting to compress 4k videos to 1080p:
Format: MKV
Codec: H.265(x265)
Compression speed: SLOW
Average Bitrate(kbps): 5000
Audio: AAC autopass-thru
Can compression be further improved without losing quality?

What is the most professional configuration to compress? (read)
I know that the question is not concrete. But someone who has compressed videos for a long time, what settings would you use to compress (for example) a 1080P movie, which weighs 15gb and reduce its weight as much as possible without losing quality?

Better configuration to upload videos to MEGA and be able to watch them online?

Re: Best video cropping program for Handbrake?
Sorry, I misread your question, and apologies. You can losslessly trim AVC video in VideoRedo for Windows and maintain GOP integrity. Premiere and other nonlinear editors will usually re-encode it, but not much quality is sacrificed. Thank you for recommending me that program (videoredo). It is wha...

Best video cropping program for Handbrake?
I had previously asked if it is good to trim scenes from a video with Adobe Premiere and then compress the video with Handbrake and they told me NO. Because Premiere makes videos lose a lot of quality once they are rendered.

If a video is H.264, is it worth compressing it to H.265? (read)
If an H.264 video weighs 15gb and at the end of compressing it weighs 1.7gb in H.265 Is it worth compressing to H.265? Or am I doing the wrong thing and should I compress it to H.264.? I read out there that H.265 compresses even better and the files are a bit lighter. But I don't know, tell me what...
