Re: Operational priority for multiple queue items

Possibly dumb operational question. If many items are in the Handbrake Queue does the program process them one at a time or try and split up resources across all jobs that are in queue?

Put differently are multiple encode operations occurring simultaneously?

Re: Video and audio not synchronized

Thanks for those who are helping. I am a rank novice regarding troubleshooting of this type of issue. Here is what I have noticed after you put my nose in it… For the Hunter Killer content The .mkv file jumps from 4:28 to 6:22 on the time frame when played. The .mp4 file gets ‘futzed up’ at the 4:28...

Re: Video and audio not synchronized

Downloaded and installed version 1.3.3 and re-ripped.

Same results -- frozen image followed by audio and video being un-synchronized.

Video and audio not synchronized

Description of problem or question: .MKV file for movie – Hunter Killer. Size is about 6.0 GB. The .MKV file plays acceptably – sound and characters are synchronized as you would expect. Ran through HandBrake with my ‘standard settings’ that worked with literally hundreds of other movies to make an...

Re: Video and Audio substantially out of sync

Thank you to "basic_user" for a hint of where to proceed. The DVD had six chapters (using MKV terms) that were all eligible -- i.e. they were each 5.7 GB in size. Each of the chapters when viewed using VLC looked OK. Used Handbrake to encode all of them. Five of the six chapters had substa...

Re: Video and Audio substantially out of sync

VLC was used to play both the .mkv and .mp4 files. Same result -- audio and video substantially out of sync for the mp4 but lined up well for the .mkv version.

Any suggestions?

Re: .MKV files and subtitles

BTW, I will volunteer to better document these settings if that would be useful. For that to work you would need to put me in touch with an 'expert' who could point me to the requisite information and associated options. I will document all of the settings in a way that makes sense to a newbie and n...

Re: .MKV files and subtitles

Words cannot express my thanks for your help. That said I am confused -- I do not see in the log where I selected "subtitle track 1, English [VOBSUB] (track 0, id 0x3, Picture) -> Render/Burn-in, Forced Only" as the log indicates. That is most likely the result of my using the GUI and not ...
