Re: Handbrake Removing Title from File, Title Cut Off
Alieo, it depends on your file naming configuration , but it is kind of moot for this question. but it is kind of moot for this question. Yes, the default file naming convention includes some other parameters besides the title like title comment, date, and title id but in my experience, none of the...

Re: Handbrake Removing Title from File, Title Cut Off
Slight correction, when using MakeMKV, you are editing the title by default unless you select 'filename' from the drop down. Basically, you have to try to have the filename not match the title. By default, the 'Name' property is what you're editing which is the file's title. Whatever you set here is...

I don't need MKVToolNix to see what the title of a file is, but I went ahead and opened the file in MKVToolNix and it is just as it appears in the file property details. Partial / Cut-off Titles after Encode (Meta Data) - No longer matches filename
Description of problem or question: The .mkv files that I'm encoding are ending up with their titles being cut-off when viewed in VLC. I create .mkv files using MakeMKV, I name every file manually. After I run it through Handbrake, the 'title' in the metadata is cut-off. It seems to always cut off ...

Set Subtitle 'Foreign Audio Scan' as Default Track, Batch
Is it possible to set the 'Foreign Audio Scan' subtitle track as the default subtitle track for a batch? This is one of my biggest challenges when it comes to processing video files with handbrake. I generally don't need subtitles but if a foreign subtitle track exists, I want it to be the default s...
