Thank you all. I can confirm it was the powerpoint slides the vendor was using. We had a three camera set up plus the powerpoint for a lawn & garden webcast. HandBrake is autocropping 240 pixels from the left and right side. Your source has black bars on both sides. If you don't want to crop them, you'll have to disable cropping on the dimensions pane. Yep! That was it. Such a simple fix haha. I even set up a preset and all the other videos I've converted didn't have that! Thank you for your help!

Description of problem or question: Handbrake is only allowing me to convert my file to 1440x1080 (4:3) instead of 1920x1080 (16:9). When I view the file on a Windows computer it's in the 16:9 format but to edit in Adobe I have to convert it to MP4 (Adobe stopped supporting the Motion JPEG AVI file...
