Re: Job summary elapsed time
The logs should tell you. Do you mean by looking at the start encode timestamp (e.g. [09:41:51]) and then the last timestamp in the log (e.g. [11:42:45]) and manually working out the difference? I was hoping there'd be an easier/quicker way and am surprised the actual time elapsed isn't logged anyw...

Job summary elapsed time
HandBrake 1.2.2 Windows 7 Professional If I queue up say 10 jobs and then let Handbrake run them all, is there a simple way when all finished to see how long each individual job took? For example, I want to run some tests to see how much quicker or slower encoding the exact same file is with certai...

Re: Range trimming can be out by 30 secs+
1) Upgrade to the latest release, 1.2.0 isn't really supported, although I don't expect this to fix the problem. You were right, 1.2.2 didn't fix the problem, apparently due to inherent errors in the source so not the fault of HB... 2) The TS is full of stream errors, as you'd expect for broadcasts...

1) Upgrade to the latest release, 1.2.0 isn't really supported, although I don't expect this to fix the problem. Hmmm, thanks, clicking the "Check for Updates" button returns "There are no new updates at this time" so if you hadn't of mentioned 1.2.0 was out of date I would neve...

Re: Range trimming can be out by 30 secs+
I've just done some double checking and noted actual specifics in case it gives anyone any pointers on perhaps a setting I have set wrong: 24GB .ts Interlaced file (4 hours long) containing 6 x 40 minute episodes. By the fourth episode I've set the Range in Handbrake to start at 02:01:19 but on comp...

Range trimming can be out by 30 secs+
I will often video capture a load of episodes of a TV show overnight which results in a typically 40GB file the next morning. I then use Handbrake to Deinterlace and trim this large file back into individual episode files. To trim I play the large file back in VLC and then copy the start and end tim...

No audio track after encode
I'm using Handbrake to de-interlace a movie that was broadcast in two parts on the UK's ITV2 channel. Mediainfo reports that both raw .ts files have the exact same audio and video formats however one encodes perfectly while the other only outputs video with no audio track. I've recaptured the raw .t...
