I will do the normal conversion with HandBrake and then in Linux I will join the subtitle.
MP4Box -add <Subtitle>.srt:hdlr=sbtl:lang=eng <MovieWithoutSubtitle>.mp4 -out <MovieWithSubtitle>.mp4

Re: Add subtitles when opening recursive folder
So, there is no possibility of doing it from the program's own graphical interface?

Add subtitles when opening recursive folder
Description of problem or question: I have 1000 MP4 files and 1000 .srt files in 1 folder Both have the same title, just the file format changes. Is it possible when adding the files to convert that I add those subtitles to each video so that the result is the converted video plus those subtitles a...

The option to pause the queue when the current one ends was very useful for moments before turning off t...

Try adding the setting they say and nothing.

update drivers Geforce? CUDA 10.2
currently I have: Handbreak 1.3.0 drivers 430.86 They have released a new version of the graphics drivers (441.20) They have updated in these the CUDA version (CUDA - 10.2 ) If I update the drivers, everything works fine without problems? or when they change the version of CUDA the program must adapt?

Thank you and very good work the program is wonderful.JohnAStebbins wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 6:14 pm Hmm, seems like a reasonable idea. We could probably add descriptive text to the new status pane in the queue window and signal a warning with a special icon in the job list.
A warning for these cases would be very good.

Suggestion to notify when the original source is not correct.
Description of problem or question: It does not warn when the converted file has a very different time than the original. Original example that takes 25 minutes and a result that gives 5 minutes. Re: Is Handbreak worth using?
This program is wonderful and simple.
I used the DVDfab to convert when I did not have this Nvenc, since I saw that it has use this and much better without having to be with lios with the other program that also many versions did badly or with problems.
To convert to mp4 in H265 I am doing very well.

Re: GPU Acceleration?
So folks feel NVENC is competitive with software based encoding from a quality standpoint? I agree with PajiAlfa, Sure looks good to me. Quality is subjective, but NVEnc still requires fairly significantly more bitrate (bigger files) to achieve quality which the average person won't see a differenc...

Re: GPU Acceleration?
No, Cuda based encoding did not get better. Infact, Nvidia has abandoned it in favour of NVEnc which is vastly superior to it. It still doesn't match software encoding, but it is fast and reasonable quality compared to the horrible output that most Cuda encoders give. NVEnc support may come to Hand...

Re: How to install latest version in debian 8
We have documentation on compiling from source here: https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/1.0.0/developer/build-linux.html Debian dependencies should be the same/similar to Ubuntu. I may eventually make a Debian guide as well, but other things are taking priority right now. If I saw the manual earlier. But...

I said it more simply.
I add to each video "myname" - "video name"
Something simple that would prevent me having to go after the MP4Box

Possibility of defining metatags in MP4 files
Please describe what you would like to see added to HandBrake: Possibility of having a command line (similar to Extra options in tab video) where to indicate that general metatags have to have in values like title, comment.
