Re: Variable Framerate behavior change with MP4 in HD 1.0.x
Might be an issue with HB but might also be an issue with Mediainfo. It's possible. But 0.10.5 outputs correct mp4 file: Codec ID : avc1 Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video Coding Duration : 9 min Bit rate : 69.0 kb/s Width : 1 920 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode...

Variable Framerate behavior change with MP4 in HD 1.0.x
In HB 0.10.5 I used FPS = Same as Source + Variable Framerate. When the source had constant framerate the output had variable framerate. In 1.0.1 with the same settings I get constant framerate as a result. This applies only to MP4 output files. When I use mkv as an output, everything works fine. I ...

Re: Destination path behavior
That's great news. The whole thing is due for an overhaul, especially the autoname options in 1.1 so I can make it more flexible.
can you also add an option: "use source folder as destination" ?

Re: Destination path behavior
After that it only changes the filename whilst keeping the path whatever it is , even if it's different from the preference. yes that's exactly what I'm seeing too I expected Handbrake to read the default path from the preferences every time when I add a new source. Now I don't know how to form a s...

Destination path behavior
Hi. I found some strange behavior of the destination path option. I have a valid destination path entered, I added couple of source files, added them to queue. Now I change the destination path to other folder, trying to add new source files, but handbrake uses the old destination folder, until I re...

Modulus parameter is not loaded from user preset
Hi... again. I made a custom present, but when I load it it uses whatever modulus was set before (default after program start is 16). I exported my preset and rechecked, json file contains correct modulus setting (which is 2). Here is my profile: { "PresetList": [ { "AudioCopyMask&quo...

HandbrakeCLI 1.0.1 doesn't start encoding with custom present
Hi. I tried HandbrakeCLI today with preset I exported from HandbrakeGUI. CLI doesn't start the encoding mp4 files. I checked 5 different mp4 and m4v source files - nothing is working. I checked avi, mkv source files - everything work perfectly. With mp4 files it just shows: Encoding: task 1 of 1, 0....

Re: Handbrake 1.0.1 outputs a broken video file
Here is the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/27uzdqrx7snyajr/16%5B87D4C7B7%5D.mp4?dl=0 The file plays correctly in the drop box. I also tested it in 4 different players (mpc-hc, mpc-black, vlc, mpv). Everything is fine. The main problem with situation is that Handbrake reports encode is complete, when...

Handbrake 1.0.1 outputs a broken video file
Hi again. I got a problem with encoding a video file. handbrake finishes the job, says no errors, everything is ok, but the video file is broken in the middle. I tried 3 different video players (they all stop playing in the middle of the file, showing some artifacts). I tried to recode the same file...

Re: Handbrake 1.0.1 creates lots of 1.5mb files in temp folder
Well, I don't need autocrop.
I actually tried to set 'Minimum length of title to scan' to 999999999 seconds.
But handbrake still scans every single video I add, even if it's 30 seconds in length.

Handbrake 1.0.1 creates lots of 1.5mb files in temp folder
Hi. I use Handbrake 1.0.1. When I add mp4 files to the handbrake it creates a folder hb.XXXX inside the windows temp folder and creates 10 1.5mb files per any mp4 I added. The files are named: 9_1_0, 9_1_1, 9_1_2 upto 9_1_9. They all have either 1.536.000 or 1.244.160 bytes size. So when i added 500...
