I didn't edit or change anything - for both runs it's the same source file, same subtitle settings and the complete log

Re: handbrake dicarding subtitels and Foreign Audio Scan not working
But there is one track (track 12) that has about 30 lines in it (~3kb) when extracted, so I'm sure that fits the 10% criteria... I'll check my collection to see if there are other movies from which I know that there are foreign language subtitles. Maybe I can generate some more logs, because I'm cer...

Re: handbrake dicarding subtitels and Foreign Audio Scan not working
The flatpak version looks a bit nicer but besides that shows exactly the same behavior with the subtitle... Same result, same problem, similar log... handbrake dicarding subtitels and Foreign Audio Scan not working
Description of problem or question: Since a few months I'm having problems to get the forced subtitles right with handbrake. Mostly I end up with no foreign audio subtitles or with a subtitle-track containing subs for the whole movie. So I did some testing today with my bluray of The Mummy since I ...

Handbrake ppa not working with newest ubuntu ("no release file")
Description of problem or question: I tried to add the handbrake ppa on my system to get the newest updates. Unfortunately it fails with this error E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handbrake-releases/ubuntu focal Release' does not have a Release file. N: Updating from such a rep...

Right way to configure subtitles (forced foreign audio)
Description of problem or question: I'm struggling to get the subtitle-selection right. I want to preserve English and German Subtitles and set subtitles for foreign audio parts as a default. But somehow I don't seem to get it right. With my current encodes the subtitle for the hearing impaired are...

Re: Handbrake extremly slow after upgrade
4x as many pixels to encode will certainly be slower! Set the max resolution in 1.3.1 and save it in your preset. Okay, yeah that explains it - it seems I have to clear my queue and re-add everything and it seems to work... Thanks Also you're specifying no-sao wrong, so it's not happening. Use the ...

Re: Handbrake extremly slow after upgrade
(just to avoid confusion - I wrote "the same file" - actually I ment "a similar file" - the next episode of a series but digitalized in the same way. They are a few minutes different in length)

Handbrake extremly slow after upgrade
I just did an system upgrade (from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04) and together with it went from handbrake 1.2.1 to version 1.3.1 - but unfortunately somewhere along the way something seems to have gotten wrong, because my encoding speed dropped by a lot. I did an encode before the upgrade at around 10 fps,...

Add "Foreign Language Search" to presets
I'd like to add a subtitles track with "foreign language search (forced only, default track)" to all my videos. So it would be enormously helpful if I could add this to my presets. But I didn't find any way to do this. In the "Subtitles default"-Tab I can only select my preferred...
