Re: [Invalid] Handbrake doesn't shutdown computer properly
Same here, just HB running when I go to bed. When I wake up there is a prompt and as soon as I click it the computer immediately shuts down. Very annoying :) When I manually type in the command s55 posted it works perfect. For some reason Windows isn't allowing HB to do it though. Maybe it's Defende...

Re: Handbrake doesn't shutdown computer properly
I noticed the same thing with my computer, but I wasn't sure if the shutdown option was broke or just not using the forced option so I did a feature request. Or maybe there is some security setting since the Windows 10 Developers Update that is preventing it form shutting down. Either way I haven't ...

Re: Strange "credit" subtitles auto-burnt into video output
I have a Cast Away and MiB Blu-ray which both have a commentary subtitle track which get picked up on the current algorithm also. The MiB movie had one of the worms pop up in different parts of the screen once in a while saying something weird which was kind of funny, but not what I wanted. Because ...

Re: Add Option to Force Shutdown of Windows after Encode
Ya, it works just fine when I manually do a shutdown from command prompt and I see the pop up saying it's shutting down in 60 seconds which closes by itself when it's time. However, when I tell HB to shutdown when it's done my system is just sitting there at a prompt when I wake up in the morning an...

Re: Option or Setting to manage visible presets in GUI
I believe what you're asking is already implemented. I'm running the latest nightly and it not only puts my custom User Presets at the top, but also remembers the status of all Presets and whether they are expanded or not

Add Option to Force Shutdown of Windows after Encode
Please describe what you would like to see added to HandBrake: An additional option to Force (or without Prompting) a shutdown of Windows 10 after an encode. Current option does a Shutdown only, but the user is prompted to click "Close" that the computer will be shutting down in 1 minute ...

Re: Is there a way to control processor usage?
Would reducing the X264 setting for threads used help? I believe it defaults to 1.5X the number of available cores you have. I'm not really up on how that effects everything

Re: After Scanning Input Window Doesn't Close
No popup errors, just the same kind of errors I already posted before. I deleted my old Preset though and recreated using same settings. It's just that I can use one of the built in presets fine, but can't use the ones I'm creating any more like I can using builds from a couple days ago. This is a n...

Re: After Scanning Input Window Doesn't Close
I'm getting audio and chapters now using HandBrake-20170411-2aa7640_x86_64-Win_GUI https://pastebin.com/Q4Qt3RLe However, before loading I deleted my User Preset and used one of the HB Matroska ones built into HB if you think that had anything to do with no audio or chapters. Either way, right now b...

Re: After Scanning Input Window Doesn't Close
No, just using plain HB. The version you just put up doesn't add audio or chapters. Fell back again and here is the activity log using same input, but audio and chapters are now there

Re: After Scanning Input Window Doesn't Close
Okay, loaded HandBrake-20170411-ec65fcb_x86_64-Win_GUI and it worked fine. Here is the log: https://pastebin.com/JmnAvBcE The version number didn't change in the header of the log, but that's definitely the new one you just put up. Thank you for considering, will help me so I also don't have to keep remuxing LPCM back in afterwardBradleyS wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2017 7:15 pm I hope at some point we can add LPCM passthrough

Re: Unnecessary Downsampling of 96 kHz and 192 kHz Sources
We should add those samplerates eventually. Not sure about PCM passthru, but since it has no bitstream metadata (unlike Dolby and DTS codecs), FLAC works just fine to re-encode PCM. My issue with FLAC is that it may be great for HTPC, but a lot of even the newest 2017 TVs don't support streaming FL...

Re: Unnecessary Downsampling of 96 kHz and 192 kHz Sources
Would be nice if HB could pass PCM. I have a lot of older Criterion movies and I usually have to go back to my original mkv from Makemkv and remux any PCM back in.
