Direct playback on TVs
I’ve ‘HandBraked’ videos and directly connected my hard drive to the tv, not through a media player, but the videos all play back in original format. When played through a media player, they play back correctly. Is it possible to fix this?

When i try to encode an episodic PAL (720x576) dvd video, (processed with makemkv and added all titles to queue), to a custom size of 716x402, the output is always 504x402 with black sidebars.

I can't find the "switch to defaults" on the subtitle tab. I just have 2 tabs, "Configure defaults" and "Reload defaults". And I'm not sure how to save the modified preset.

I'd like to see the option to save subtitles as default
This would speed up batch processing instead of having to set a subtitle for each video file separately.
