HandBrake

OK - I'll redo the 1.1.1 one again in 1.0.7. But the general principle has been there over many conversions.

Running version 1.1.1 on MKV files and using Fast 1080p, I am finding that the frames/sec is over 50% lower than running 1.0.7. I have checked the basic parameters and I can find nothing different. Where would I start? Running Windows 10 - all updates applied. I have posted an activity log from 1.07...

Ah - I need to convert them to MP4 because my TV doesn't handle MKV's. That is why I was using VLC

I'll try that next then (I like Handbrake).

VLC seems to do what I want - So, all sorted

MakeMKV works fine - now all I need to do is find a MKV to MP4 converter.

Its not the movie - it's the original TV series. All the other disks (so far) have worked OK.

I have also tried directly from the DVD using a method proposed elsewhere on this forum of moving the XMBC CSS dll to the handbrake directory. That method also hangs at "9 of 13"

I am converting a load of my DVDs to MP4s. Currently doing The Avengers. I use DVD Decypter first to remove the encrption and then Handbrake to create the files. All is OK apart from 1 disk. DVD Decypter seems to work, but Handbrake just hangs with "Scanning title 9 of 13". I've tried decy...
