Re: "Track Name" not retained in presets

Sorry to re-open this thread, but I would like to see this added as a feature. Where this would be very helpful is when you have to re-encode TV Shows that have multiple seasons with many episodes and not have to add a track name to each episode. One TV Show has over 220 episodes that contain the sa...

Re: Question about Subtitles for CLI

Thanks everyone for your help. I pretty much got everything working except for the audio and subtitle's. It appears that it only writes out one audio track with the wrong track name. The subtitle issue is that it writes out the subtitle track throughout the show and not just the forced track if one ...

Re: Question about Subtitles for CLI

This is currently what I have written. Am I close? This doesn't include any of the audio lines, I'm still working on that. Command Line: <C:\Program Files\Handbrake\HandBrakeCLI.exe> --input "<D:\Ripped Movies\Blah Blan - S01E23 - Blah.mkv>" --output "<D:\Converted Movies\Blah Blah - ...

Thanks Woodstock, that helps a lot. Would something like this work? --subtitle scan --subtitle-forced --subtitle-burned

Re: Question about Subtitles for CLI

OK, I think the reason I got the errors is when I do a '--preset-list' I don't see my preset. I see all of the others, but none of my presets saved under "User Preset" and when I try to modify a default preset, I can't save the changes. Also, when I save my preset, it doesn't save my "...

Re: Question about Subtitles for CLI

Thanks for your reply. I'm very new to this, so when I tried that I got the following error: [08:21:26] hb_init: starting libhb thread [08:21:26] thread 1 started ("libhb") [08:21:26] Preset (null): Incorrect value type for key AudioDitherMethod. Converting. [08:21:26] Preset (null): Incor...

Question about Subtitles for CLI

Hello, I have a question about setting up the CLI for subtitles. I'm trying this for the first time and don't quite understand on how to do this using the help file from HandBrakeCLI. I would like to add the command line to act like my current GUI setup: Foreign Audio Scan, Forced Only and Burn In c...

Unable to start HB

I am not able to start Handbrake. When I try to start the application, all I see is the spinning mouse and then nothing. I checked the Windows event log and I see this: Faulting application name: Handbrake.exe, version: 0.10.1.6962, time stamp: 0x54fc5e16 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6....
