Dyna.... getting tired of hearing it yet?

exodar...I got it to work and used HB to convert a perfect copy. All I can say is keep playing around with it. Completely shut down the program and eject the disk in between tries.

Full disk rip with MTR (going to have to keep trying until it doesn't crash)...followed by HB will produce the results you are looking for.

RATATOUILLE update

Ok... I didn't want to clutter up the fairmount/DVD2OneX thread....so here is the deal on RATATOUILLE. Fairmount will not work (freezes). MTR does work: 1. 2.6.6 will scan and start the backup process but it will give you VOB errors and prompt you to "delete" them or "Pad" them. ...

Okay...movie only under 14f is done...haven't tried to play it yet: But here is the deal.... since it originally scanned with 14f and I had to try multiple times the second go around....I did the same with 14i. I did get 14i to scan. So bottom line...all the new versions of MTR *should* scan...it mi...

Hey guys RATATOUILLE renders Fairmount useless (freezes). There must be some new kind of protection on this title. MTR seems to be working on a movie only extraction, but only under 14f (other versions do not finish the scan). I had to try multiple scans with 14f to get it working. ...still ripping ...

The thread title implies you are using HB to rip directly from the DVD....your last reply implies you have already ripped it and using HB to convert.

Which is it?

If you have already ripped the DVD...did you do full disk or main feature? Which program did you use and what version?

Anyone Have Any Luck with "Meet the Robinsons"?

Rip went fine and plays fine on the Apple DVD. I noticed when "skipping" through the scenes there were 64 chapters. When I used HB to convert...everything went fine but the last part of the movie is missing. I opened up HB again to see if the number of chapters was the same as noted when u...

It probably didn't finish demuxing. You need to enable file sizes larger than 4GB. Get the new version and check the preferences.

Then in the main window you will see a new checkbox which you can check for those encodes that you want to be 64-bit mpeg4 (which allows it to be over 4 gb.) ^^ Thank you .... wow, those temps are pretty hot. my code2duo E4400 clocked at 3.0GHz only hits maybe 51C under heavy load. Even if the diode that detects temp is off by, say, 10C, that's still way less than 85C, let alone 100C. But I guess being a laptop, the MBP will not be able to ventilate air as effectively as...
