I don't care about menus (although I've done them before), but I've burned multiple movies with chapters and different audio tracks through tsmuxer and multiavchd.
I may be mistaken, but I don't believe they were data files. Once again, I may be wrong, and probably am

Re: Re-Encode size LARGE
Thank you for all your replies. I have gone ahead and updated. I understand the rf setting. Being less than a novice, I just assumed to keep the best quality I needed to go lossless, but it made sense that it would increase the file size. After reading the settings, it says that 20-24 is ideal for H...

Re: Re-Encode size LARGE
Someone on another support forum said that I need to change the specifications to meet Blu-ray standards and posted this link: https://sites.google.com/site/x264bluray/home/1080i-p
This means next to nothing to me; is this something I need to look into?

Thanks

Re-Encode size LARGE
Description of problem or question: I was re-encoding a 30ish gb MKV because it didn't meet specifications to be burned to Blu-ray, but after a day of re-encoding, the resulting MKV was 77gb--more than double its original size! Even if it now meets the specifications, discs aren't that big! Steps t...

Re: Video resize
Voila! It seems to have done it! The only issue I foresee now--which you may or may not be able to help me with--is that Eight Men Out is presented in 1.85:1, which has the very thin black bars on the top and bottom (as opposed to 1.66, which fills vertically). I don't know if I'd be able to comprom...

Re: Video resize
You cannot do this with the graphic interface - it does not allow upscaling. But you still have the command line information available in the log: CLI Query: -i "C:\Users\Jason\Videos\X-Men DoFP - Trailer 3.mp4" -t 1 --angle 1 -c 1 -o "C:\Users\Jason\Videos\x.mp4" -f mp4 -w 1920...

Re: Video resize
Woodstock, if you don't mind, how do I plug that into the exe program? mduell, I tried the custom anamorphic (even the PAR). If I can't upscale (which I didn't realize I was doing, but it makes sense looking at the number increase), is there another way to "squish" an image so that it does...

Video resize
Please detail your question or problem in as much detail as possible: I'm trying to resize the picture to 1920x1152 (1.66:1 aspect ratio) (a movie I have is abnormally stretched and I think it would be fine at this AR), but it keeps resetting to 1080. I've tried every option. (The file in the log i...

No audio in playback
Hi, I'm new to Handbrake and am encountering a major issue. No matter what audio selection I choose, there is never any audio during playback. (In case it matters, I'm going for lossless surround.) The source file I am using is a MKV file in which the audio IS present; would I be better off ripping ...
