I always copy a bd to my ssd to have an overall faster processing (subtitle scan + encoding). I dont know whether this has an effect on this problem.

I've used the mentioned latest driver for all the provided logs. Please note that this driver works perfectly for me with HB 1.3.3.

I can only reproduce the problem when using qsv_h265 or qsv_h265_10bit encoders. In very rare cases the encoding proceeds as expected. Thus it seems some kind of a race condition. The problem is just the subtitle scan. When selecting no subtitle or a specific subtitle the encoding works perfectly.

I have this issue with iGPU AND a GPU card installed.

BTW the previously mentioned MediaSDK libraries/files are no longer in ProgramFiles\Intel\MediaSDK. The UWD driver installs these files now in Windows\system32 and Windows\SysWow64.

Hmm, I've now seen a failure with version 4944 (where version 4771 succeeds).

@rbirk: you are right - version 4944 is more stable than previous versions but still not as stable as version 4771.

All drivers released after version 4771 directly caused failures, i.e. conversion of any video failed approx in the middle of the process. To be clear: HB versions < 1.0.3 work perfectly. Only 1.0.3 does not work anymore.
