Re: HandbrakeCLI scanning an HD Blu-ray directory, mpls_parse

Where in HandBrake's documentation do you see it say that UHD bluray is supported  ?
I should have RTFM. :)

Thank you and your team for making such excellent software. I'll track the upstream library, and see if a bug has already been filed.

Re: HandbrakeCLI scanning an HD Blu-ray directory, mpls_parse

Noted. There is a workaround, but this is also a bug becuse this functionality works against normal blu-ray rips as a directory, whereas it doesn't work as intended scanning the same UHD blu-ray directory. :)

Re: HandbrakeCLI scanning an HD Blu-ray directory, mpls_parse

@mduell I've been using this workflow for years with non-UHD Blu-ray discs. Indeed, I can use mkvmerge and re-mux the m2ts into an MKV. At this point, I'm not sure how much effect it would have to transcode an h.265 video into something smaller, and the bug may be in a library HandBrake uses, but I ...

HandbrakeCLI scanning an HD Blu-ray directory, mpls_parse

Description of problem or question HandbrakeCLI is unable to scan a HD Blu-ray directory from a ripped HD Blu-ray provided by Makemkv. If appears the mpls_parse code doesn't understand - perhaps - the newer format used by HD Blu-rays. Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable) 1. Provide a HD B...

ERROR: opus not found

Using Handbrake Git master. Something changed a few months ago to where the build now fails when compiling the libav-11.3 contrib portion of the build. Note, this is on Debian Sid (which has built Handbrake binaries with no problems until this issue for a long time). Configure: ./configure --disable...

Re: libdvdread configure error

Thank you! For some reason, automake and autoconf weren't installed (although I swear they were installed months ago... perhaps an upgrade or dist-upgrade removed them for some reason). /bin/mkdir -p contrib/libdvdread/ /bin/rm -fr ./contrib/libdvdread/libdvdread-5.0.0-6-gcb1ae87/ /bin/tar xfC ../do...

libdvdread configure error

Greetings! I've been compiling Handbrake from svn for quite some time, and don't usually have an issue with it... until recently. It seems there's a configure snafu with the contrib/libdvdread, and I'm not sure how to fix it up. Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed in another thre...
