Re: How to record second episode of TV serial on a DVD?

The problem is, HB only shows Chapters 1-8, which is the first episode. It doesn't show any additional chapters. John If HB is only showing a single title (with multiple chapters), it sounds like you've got the same sort of copy protection on The Tudors that was implemented for Cosmos. You may want...

Cosmos - Any Luck

I've been trying to get HB to see both titles on Discs 2-7 for the 2002 DVD edition of Cosmos. I have tried the following: MTR 3.014K (latest build) - which will see both titles, but when ripped using Main Title Extraction, will create a set of files that result in "No Valid Title Found" f...

Are you sure you got the whole movie? When I HB'd A New Hope, I had to first copy it onto my HDD via MTR.

Second Disc of Two-Disc Sets Won't Rip

I can't get the second disc of either Hamlet or Lawrence of Arabia to rip. Tried using MTR on both, but with the same results - the first 30 seconds rip, then Handbrake says the rip's done. I tried using Fairmount and DTOX on Hamlet, Disc 2, but I got a reply that the disc was copy protected. Didn't...

I am trying to encode for AppleTV, using the preset. I should note that I was having that terrible FPS with the 2 discs from the recently released "Hamlet" set (Kenneth Brannagh). "300" encoded at 59-65 fps at the same preset.

Mac Pro Slow as a Sloth - 19 fps!!! ARGH

I have a 2.66 Mac Pro and nothing I do can get the frame rate above 19 per sec, which is about the same as my G4 iBook. I have 2 gb RAM and nothing but Firefox and Mail.app running. How can I get Handbrake to use more than one processor - everyone else I asked seems to get up to 85 fps on the same m...
