Re: Profile for DivX Plus HD?

One of the DivX team members posted over at the doom9 forums about a year ago, and recommended this for maximum DivX HD hardware compatibility. We've posted DivX Plus compatible settings at DivX Labs, since DivX Plus HD devices are coming out this year from our CE partners (e.g. Philips, Seagate, e...

Re: DivX Plus HD - H.264/MKV/AAC

I've been trying to get this working for the longest time.
A small detail was left out. For HB v.0.9.5 you need to set the framerate. Do not use Same as Source setting in HB.
I now can make mkv's that are compatible with my DivX Plus HD certified devices.

What version after compile?

downloaded the source from your main download site. Compiled it and when I check the "about" it says HandBrake svn2067M.
Is this correct?
I thought it would say 0.9.3

My distro is Ubuntu 8.04.1

Compile CLI In Windows

I followed the instruction to the T. But when I get to type "make" it does not work. If i type "jam" then it starts to compile.
it works and I'm cool with it. Just curious as to if I'm the only one with this minor glitch.
Thanks for your time.

Re: Win 0.9.2 Moire, Green Line, Sync

I tried to convert 2 DVD's with the latest version and both movies are out of sync (audio/video).
I converted to Apple TV preset.
DVDs were Rendition (2007) and Chaos (2005).

Forced Subtitles

I'm a former Windows user. I still use a few free programs on windows to convert dvd to XviD, it is AVI.NET found at CloneAD's website. The main thing I love about it is that I have an option to set subtitles as "forced". In other words they only show up when actors are speaking a differen...
